Tunebite’s High-speed Dubbing technique (or shorter: HSD) accelerates the recording step by a certain factor which is comprised by the number of used recording slots (virtual sound card drivers) and an acceleration factor per slot.
Configuration
To configure the recording step, open Options › Unprotect.
Using High-speed Dubbing requires an inital automatic configuration, the HSD Detection. During HSD Detection, Tunebite examines your computer’s speed and capacity. According to the results, the number of recording slots as well as the acceleration factor per slot are set to optimal values.
Both recording slot number and acceleration factor are reasonable maximum values. Actual HSD speed may vary, depending on CPU load and usage context.
Experts may also optimize these values manually. Select to Use a fixed number of slots along with a certain acceleration factor. Mind the displayed instructions.
Find DRM

All you need to do is to tell Tunebite where it can find your copy-protected files. Specify at least one so called music service folder. From that moment on, with a single click on Find DRM, Tunebite will scan all music service folders for DRM files and will add those to the input list.
Configuration
Options › Find DRM will automatically be shown when clicking Find DRM for the first time. This is where to specify a music service folder.
Select to Omit already recorded media files to have only fresh files added.
The options sheet additionally offers to reset the specified music service folders:
- Have all files in the folders marked As Recorded… will tell Tunebite to ignore all those files.
- Have all files marked As New… to achieve the opposite. Tunebite will regard all files as fresh and add them the next time you click Find DRM.
Both As Recorded… as well as As New… operations cannot be undone. You will thus be asked to confirm your choice before Tunebite actually executes the command and remove drm protection.

Working with Profiles
To make it as easy as possible to choose adequate output formats for your specific devices, we have equiped Tunebite with so called profiles.
A profile contains a set of attributes such as format, bit rate, aspect ratio or picture size. Profile names specify the most important attributes.

Perfect Audio
“Perfect Audio” is an option to perfect your conversion results. How does this work?
